Product overview
Upgrade your road bike rides with a metal nozzle designed for the 700c TPU inner tube system. This tube features an external thread and removable valve cores for easy maintenance, with a metal air core and air rod that are joined without glue. Tightening the valve core screws firmly before inflation helps prevent loosening over time caused by vibration and riding wear.
Why TPU inner tubes matter for road biking
TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) represents the latest advancement in bicycle inner tubes. It delivers the fastest rolling, greater durability, and lighter weight compared to traditional materials. TPU tubes require less raw material and are more recyclable, contributing to a more sustainable ride without sacrificing performance. The seamless construction, achieved through mold-cured vulcanization, ensures uniform roundness for a smooth handling experience on paved roads.
Who this is for
This upgraded metal nozzle setup is ideal for serious road cyclists using 700c tires sized from 18c to 32c. It’s a standout choice for riders who value efficiency, reliable airtightness, and easy field maintenance. Urban commuters who want fewer flats, club riders chasing faster sprints, and weekend warriors testing new road conditions will especially appreciate the combination of low rolling resistance and puncture resistance that TPU brings to the ride.
Real-world benefits
- Faster rolling, lower rolling resistance: TPU inner tubes reduce drag and help you maintain speed longer on pavement.
- Lightweight and efficient: The newest TPU technology translates to a lighter tube with less inertia, helping accelerate and climb with less effort.
- Durability in varied road conditions: High-strength construction enhances wear resistance for urban streets, highways, and rougher back roads.
- Puncture resistance and reliability: The TPU material offers robust resistance to common road hazards so you can ride with confidence.
- Seamless, uniform fit: Mold-cured vulcanization creates consistent roundness for a smoother ride and handling.
- Excellent airtightness across multiple nozzle sizes: The tube supports 42mm, 45mm, 65mm, and 85mm nozzles (French and Schrader) for reliable inflation and fewer leaks.
- Maintenance-friendly: Removable valve cores and a metal nozzle design reduce the risk of loosening and simplify in-field service.
Important installation and inflation notes
Before inflating, use the appropriate tools to tighten the valve core screws firmly to prevent loosening over time. The air core and air rod are metal, with no glue between them, which helps resist separation under vibration. This inner tube should be inflated with care when not installed inside the outer tire to avoid irreversible damage.
Be sure to inflate with a manual air pump rather than high-speed equipment. Before inflating the RideNow tube, turn the valve inward (toward the tire center). Inflate a small amount until the inner tube becomes round; this pressure should be less than 0.5 bar / 8 PSI. If the vacant inflation exceeds 6 PSI, the inner tube will expand beyond repair. Please install according to the product manual in detail.
Compatibility and sizing
Designed for 700c road bike tires, this TPU inner tube is specified for tire widths from 18c to 32c. It features external threading and removable valve cores for straightforward maintenance. The set accommodates a range of common Presta/Schrader compatible nozzles (42mm, 45mm, 65mm, 85mm) to fit your rim bed and pump style, ensuring a reliable seal and long service life when used as directed.
Technical highlights at a glance
- TPU inner tube material: fastest rolling, durable, lightest weight
- External thread with removable valve cores for easy maintenance
- Air core and air rod: metal construction with no glue between components
- Seamless mold-cured vulcanization for uniform roundness
- High airtightness nozzles: 42mm/45mm/65mm/85mm for French/Schrader compatibility
- Not recommended to inflate heavily when outside of the tire; use manual pump
Usage tips and care
To maximize lifespan, install the tube following the product manual and avoid over-inflating when not mounted inside the tire. Regularly check valve cores and tighten as needed, especially after rough rides or after replacing the tube. The combination of TPU material and rigid metal nozzle construction helps resist typical wear from cornering, braking, and debris on urban roads andrails
