Where to install and setup tips
Mount the unit at least 30.4 cm off the ground in an area with direct sunlight for reliable charging. Position to maximize sun exposure and minimize obstructions to the PIR sensor. After mounting, switch on the device and adjust the frequency dial to deter the target species. The LED will indicate active status. The motion sensor will trigger the sound response, which resets after each 9–11 second cycle. For continuous effectiveness, allow the unit to receive a minimum of 4–5 hours of sunlight daily.
